Today I’m going to write a review on the PJF Performance programs. I’ll be talking about the vertical and ball handling program that is provided. Let me start off by saying that it was surprising to see no reviews for this program besides the ones on the website, but to all of my marketer’s out there..I think you know why. I’m going to discuss what to expect from this program and also the pros and cons of both the PJF vertical program and the PJF handles program. So both programs are $27.95 each, but that’s not a one time payment, that’s a monthly payment. If you were to get both programs then you’d be paying $55.90 a month. PJF was created by Paul Fabritz, and this dude knows his stuff! He brings science into both programs, and he starts off with the basics before getting into the more intense training. Paul also works with a lot of NBA players on improving their vertical, ball handling and overall basketball skills in Anaheim, CA. If you go to the page, you’ll see where he trains in person, but to everyone like me who can’t make that trip, he’s given us the online option. Handle Program The PJF Elite Ball Handling System is 5 days a week, and I loved this system. The program works on mobility, foot work, core, and more. Everything that is in this program is explained to a T from the science perspective. For those who have pro handles, then the beginning may seem easy to you, but trust me the program does get more complex, and to those whose handles aren’t quite there yet, he does put easy alternatives. My handles went from pretty good to amazing after using this program, just be patient with it. Vertical Program The PJF Elite Vertical and Explosiveness System is also 5 days a week. What I like about this program is that it doesn’t promise you anything. It states that they usually see people gain between 6in-15in, but they know everybody is DIFFERENT! From my personal experience I gained 7” after 3 months. I like that the program also focuses on flexibility, yoga, nutrition, visualization, and injury prevention (the main things to get the best results). The program has a mixture of plyo training and weight training, so if you haven’t used weights, you might want to do this with a partner for some things. Pros Paul really knows his science. Both programs are science based, and it all makes sense, even to those who aren’t that into science. Your vertical and your ball handling will definitely skyrocket after this program..if you do everything right and are consistent. The program also has its own app, so you can take it on the go whenever you want, or you can always print the workouts out on your desktop. Also each workout has a video that goes with it and a description of the workout so nobody would be confused.
You will need access to weights, two basketballs, a hill, a sand dome, a pool, and jump boxes. If you don't have access to these things then he does put alternative exercises (besides the two ball exercises). Cons The price..I personally think $27.95 a month is fine; some people pay more than that with a gym membership. But if you’re struggling with money then you may not keep up. Both programs last for a year. So if you were to get both programs and you do it for a year, then it’s like you’re paying $670.80 for the year, but of course if you only get one program then it’ll be $335.40 for the year. ALSO! If you want to keep having access to the videos and discussions after that year, then you still have to keep paying that $27.95 monthly fee. It’s almost like Netflix, in order to keep your membership, you have to pay each month. Plus, there’s no refunds on either program. The discussion board can only be used on a computer, unfortunately you can’t use it on your phone. Also, don’t try to even email them with questions from the questions tab on the home page because they probably won’t get back to you (atleast that was my experience), so I had to use the discussion board to get the answers I wanted. The vertical program at first kind of confused me because it stated that the program last 3 months, but since it’s a year program, I just figured you do the 3 months 4 times of the year but each time gets tougher. Another thing is that you can’t see the month ahead until you’re done with the month before. So say you’re on month 1, you wouldn’t be able to see the workouts for month 2 because you haven’t paid for it yet. So each time a whole month has been completed, then you’ll be able to get to see the next month if you have the $27.95. Conclusion Overall I think the program is fantastic. It definitely works, but everybody will have different results. The main concern is if you can afford paying what he’s asking for each month for both programs. If you can pay it and if you’re okay with paying every month, then great for you, go out and get better because I know I sure did.
